After receiving a Christmas photo card from a friend with their blog address on it, I decided that I would copy that great idea and start a family blog. So welcome to the McGraw family blog. We are happy to have you visit!
My grand plan is to keep this site updated with our lives - milestones, fun events, photos, etc.
First off, let me say Happy New Year to each of you. It is still only 11:17pm - not quite time to say Happy New Year but by the time you read this it will be 2008. I had a bit of an unusual New Years Eve. Steve is at work. We are not big party people (OK - except for the Annual Christmas Party thing. Ha ha) My night was pretty typical. Get the kids ready for bed, etc. Well a couple of things made this night special for me. Starting with Mason running to give his brother a hug and kiss goodnight. This doesn't happen every night and Ben was very welcoming. It was a very cute moment that made me very happy. Wish I could have caught it on camera! Then I rocked Mason as I do nightly before bed. He was giggly and sweet showering me with kisses and hugs. So at this point my heart is feeling pretty damn full!! This is what life is all about! Family & love. After Mason was down, Ben & I had our first "movie date night". I knew making it till midnight would be a huge task for an almost 5 year old. The concept of New Years was over his head. But I wanted to do something. I told him we would watch a movie - his pick - after his brother was in bed. The look on his little face as we headed downstairs was the best. He was just beaming at this special treat. So we watched Happy Feet and then my 48 pound boy asked that I carry him upstairs. Mind you - I could have left the house and been with friends. That would have been great too as I love my friends. But this night - was perfect!! So Happy New Year all, hope yours was as sweet as mine. We wish you health & happiness in the New Year
